MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID (MHFA)

Glow On, Sis! demonstrates our advocacy of Mental Health through hosting Mental Health First Aid Training and Certification at no-cost to our Community Members.

Whether you are looking to be better equipped in identifying factors in maintaining your own mental wellness, MFHA Training is for you.

The MHFA Training Course is offered for two (2) populations and tracts, including the Youth MFHA Training Course and Adult MFHA Training Course.

ADULT MHFA TRAINING

This Course is ideal for first-responders, teachers, professionals, and individuals among adult population and peers to be more equipped to address your own mental health challenges and be prepared to assist a friend, family member or neighbor with evidence-based, nationally recognized training. Allow your piqued curiosity to cultivate a self-care routine through the action plan you will create during the course.

This Course is designed to be completed in one-day with built-in breaks over 6-8 hour workshop.

YOUTH MHFA TRAINING

This Course is ideal for first-responders, parents, teachers, professionals, and individuals working with young persons to best meet their mental health challenges and unique needs.
